Creative Design at Beacon House

Alongside my illustration work, I am the Specialist Creative Designer at Beacon House Therapeutic Services & Trauma Team.

My role involves creating free visual resources, bespoke illustrations, educational materials and digital content that help make complex ideas easier to understand and accessible to a wider audience.

Living with and healing from Complex PTSD, parenting children who have experienced developmental trauma, and working within a trauma-informed organisation have strengthened my belief in the importance of every story we hold. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for connection and the power of imagery to communicate experiences that can be difficult to express through words alone.

This work continues to shape how I approach commissions, combining creativity, curiosity and a deep respect for people's stories, relationships and lived experiences.
